The No One Should Have No One to Turn to Campaign ends on Boxing Day, 26 December 2020. You can remove it from your homepage from this time. However, If you want to leave the homepage promo on your local partner website you are free to do so. The news article is free to remain and if you do remove it please follow the guidlines and ensure there is no broken links. The No One Campaign is an awareness piece about the services Age UK offer, however some of the messaging supplied in it is Christmas focused (“No one should be alone at Christmas. Not ever”), so if you do keep it up into the New Year, you may want to tweak some of the copy…

To create the news story:
Please create a news article page with a title of No One Should Have No One To Turn To in you 2020 articles folder, and save it. The URL will become no-one-should-have-no-one-to-turn-to in the usual way but add 2020 eg no-one-should-have-no-one-to-turn-to-2020. If you aren’t sure how to do this, see our instructions on creating a news article (PDF).

The article text is already available for you in your GLOBAL folder under the BLOCKS tab: GLOBAL/campaigns/winter-campaign/2020 folder.
You may want to create a folder called Campaigns in your own right hand file structure, if you haven’t already.
Under this create a sub folder called winter-campaign-2020
The GLOBAL text block we have provided In the blocks folder GLOBAL/campaigns/winter-campaign/2020:

Copy and paste the winter-article-2020 block into your own campaign folder and amend with your local Age UK details where necessary. (if you do not copy the blcok you will not be able to edit it)

You will find the video block in the right hand blocks folder: GLOBAL/campaigns/winter-campaign/2020 folder, it’s named winter-video-2020
You can drag this block directly on to your article page, should we need to change the video we can do it centrally.
Homepage hero block

The content is already generated for you in a GLOBAL block (see above) but you must copy and paste the block into your own folders and update it with the correct links/ information about your local Age UK.
Instructions
You will find the block in your GLOBAL/campaigns/winter-campaign/2020 folder, it’s named winter-home-hero-2020
Please copy and paste the block into your own blocks folder, then drag onto your homepage, make the relevant changes: e.g. to amend the ‘Call to action’ link to go to the news article you just created.
